Your dogs’ diet is vitally important. You need to ensure they get the best possible nutrition to keep them healthy and happy for longer.

Some dogs always seem to be starving. Check your dog’s weight with your vet to determine if his/her food intake should increase or change in any way.

The following advice is for dogs that regularly refuse food, but have no underlying health problems. If your dog has suddenly lost his/her appetite, it’s best to consult a vet.

Your dog needs time to adjust to a new dog food ¬– it’s better to introduce it gradually over a week or so. If your dog has a very sensitive stomach, you may need to take a bit longer.
