Sometimes a standard adult formula isn’t enough for dogs who are slightly overweight or who struggle to maintain a healthy weight. The Ultra Pet Special Diet Weight Control formula has been scientifically developed in conjunction with our in-house experts and contains a precise nutritional balance of energy and protein. The added L-carnitine assists in burning fat naturally, instead of storing it in the body. Wholesome fibre aids with keeping dogs’ hunger satisfied between meals.

Divide the recommended daily amount into two equal-sized meals per day. Limit other foods, table scraps and snacks, because feeding these would be counterproductive. Avoid changing between different diets as this may cause digestive upsets for your dog. Keep in mind that each dog is different and will have different daily nutritional requirements, therefore adjust feeding amounts to ensure a lean, healthy body condition is maintained.
